Resetting Teamviewer Client ID on a MAC OS


How to Change TeamViewer ID on Mac OS

To change Teamviewer ClientID on Mac OS, you can use the python script TeamViewer-id-changer.py from GitHub. Follow these steps

  1. Download script from Git Hub; or see download attachment below
  2. Close TeamViewer (make sure the process has completely disappeared);
  3. Navigate to your download folder
  4. Rename the downloaded folder : TeamviewerReset
  5. Open a terminal window
  6. Change directory to TeamviewerReset.py
  7. Run the script: sudo ./TeamViewer-id-changer.py;
  8. Reboot the device.
  9. Enjoy
